What are the benefits of joining a community-based fitness gym?

First and foremost, CrossFit Voyage offers the best value for your money, compared to any other type of gym. The primary reason is that we are locally owned and operated, and the goal of the members of our community-based gym is to provide help, support, and encouragement for each other. You’ll find the environment more welcoming and less intimidating.

Further, you’re getting your workouts programmed and lead by a certified coach and expert on a daily basis. Rather than walking into this gym without a plan, we’ve already written one for you and will lead you through it with the group each day!

At the end of each workout, you’ll receive a unique report card that tracks your progress. We also take snapshots of your workout every day and store them in our system. This is nice because it allows you to compare your progression from week to week so that you know when you’re making gains, and when your body may require some recovery.

A community-based group fitness gym is also better for your health than being at home physically inactive. There are many studies that have shown that individuals who exercise with others and share their thoughts are less lonely and suffer from depression less which has a direct link to physical health.

When it comes to making your lifestyle shift, you’re going to be in a group of people that are on the exact same page as you. It wasn’t until March 2020 until I took my health and fitness into my own hands. My mentality was, “if I semi workout and eat healthy once a week, that’s enough. Right?” I dove into 75 Hard which helped develop a no excuses mentality and hold myself accountable.
 
You could find me in your commercial gym lifting but without guidance. I thought I was comfortable with lifting and pushing my limits. Until I received an invitation from Paul to check out CrossFit voyage for the first time.
 
I went to my first CrossFit class mid October 2022 and felt like it was my calling. I went to Cookeville, TN the weekend of Halloween 2022 and received my Level 1 certification to be a CrossFit trainer. The love, support, and welcoming arms are what drew me into CrossFit Voyage and I’ve never looked back!

I received my CrossFit Level 1 in 2019, and started coaching at my gym in Japan.

Hi, I’m Ryan Weitgenant. I recently joined CrossFit Voage after moving here from Japan in January. I am originally from Minnesota and grew up playing Baseball, Soccer, Hockey and lacrosse. I played lacrosse in college and I am still involved as a coach and Men’s league player. I received my CrossFit Level 1 in 2019, and started coaching at my gym in Japan. I am excited to start coaching here and I look forward to getting to know more people at the gym than just my 0500 group!

I first found Crossfit in 2013.  I just couldn’t lose the last 20 pounds of baby weight. I only had a few hours a week to myself and I wanted to maximize my free time.  I walked into a CrossFit gym and it was love at first wod. I signed up that day and never looked back.

I’ve been lucky enough to train all over the world.  I earned my Crossfit Level 1 in England and developed my coaching skills with multiple talented coaches. I interned with Youth Exercises Program in Suffolk England, reporting directly to the strength and conditioning coach for the England Golf team.

I also was the assistant coach to 2 different Level 3 coaches in Bury St Edmunds, England. There are only 76 level 3 coaches in the all of the UK.

I am also very active among the Crossfit Competitors Community. I’ve been lucky enough to be on the staff of Regionals, Sanctionals and the CrossFit Games.

When I found CrossFit over 5 years ago, I had never lifted a barbell. I constantly struggled with body image throughout my life, and I was stuck spinning my wheels between cardio training and poor nutrition. When presented with the option, a dear friend asked me if I wanted to have a “slanky runner body” when I am older, or if I wanted to be “a buff old lady?!” I said, I want to be a buff old lady. I gained nearly 15 pounds of muscle mass, and I have never felt more confident and capable.

I enjoy coaching all ages in the sport of fitness, and I look forward to working with sports teams in the future. The thing I love most about CrossFit Voyage is our community; we are truly stronger together.

I have been active in fitness my whole life in various ways but was never a high level athlete. I found Crossfit in 2014 and while it was very intimating at first I found myself just enjoying the variation of fitness I was learning. I never truly thought I would ever be able to climb a rope or even do a simple pull up but I started to get stronger and as I did those things became attainable. Now I am in the best shape of my life. I no longer think in terms of “if” I can do something but rather “when” I can do it! HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
